Logan Wagener’s 24-Hour Challenge: Carbon Gym Supports Breast Cancer Fundraiser
Logan Wagener’s 24-hour challenge was the biggest fundraiser has seen in years. Carbon Gym hosted the event and our community raised thousands. Here’s Logan’s fundraiser story.
Inside the Breast Cancer Fundraiser Geelong Community Rallied Around
On October 25th, Leopold’s Logan Wagener took on an extraordinary 24-hour challenge to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The challenge held at Leopold Football & Netball club involved running, cycling, and rowing non-stop, covering an incredible 268km. He surpassed his goal, raising over $15,000 thanks to the generosity of the Geelong community.
Carbon Gym was proud to support Logan by donating a rower and bike erg for his use during the event. It showed the real power of community, as people from all walks of life came together to cheer Logan on and contribute to this meaningful cause.
Logan’s personal connection to the cause made the challenge even more special, as he’s lost loved ones to breast cancer and had close friends affected. The event wasn’t just about physical endurance, but also about showing solidarity and raising awareness for those impacted by the disease.
We congratulate Logan for his determination and thank everyone who contributed to this incredible effort. At Carbon Gym, we’re always proud to support initiatives that have a lasting positive impact on our community.

How Logan Trained for the 24-Hour Breast Cancer Fundraiser Geelong Challenge
Logan trained for six months at Carbon Gym to prepare for this fundraiser challenge. His plan blended long cardio, strength maintenance, nutrition tracking, and mental prep with his Carbon Gym coaches.
What the Breast Cancer Fundraiser Geelong Raised
By the end of the 24 hours, our breast cancer fundraiser Geelong event raised over $20,000 for local patients and treatment programs. Members, coaches, and strangers stopped by to sweat alongside Logan, keep him fuelled, or just stand in his corner during the hardest stretches of the fundraiser effort.
We donate every cent of the fundraiser proceeds directly to Breast Cancer Network Australia. Thank you to everyone who showed up, donated, or shared the fundraiser. Carbon Gym will host the breast cancer fundraiser Geelong again next year.
Why Logan Chose Carbon Gym for the Breast Cancer Fundraiser Geelong
Logan has trained with us for almost three years. When he decided to take on the 24-hour fundraiser challenge, there was only one home gym for it. Carbon Gym donated the space, the power, the coffee, and the sound system. Every member of our team volunteered shifts across the 24 hours to keep Logan moving.
