Coach Russ earned his first degree black belt under Professor Peter De Been this week.

Peter De Been holds a sixth degree black belt under Carlos Gracie Jr, one of the most senior BJJ lineages in the world. Getting your first degree under him means your belt was earned properly.

It also means Carbon is now an official @debeenjiujitsu affiliate. If you train at another de Been school anywhere in the world, your BJJ classes here are free. Just come in and roll.

If you`ve been thinking about starting BJJ, there`s no better time. You`ll be learning under that same lineage from day one 🥋
