Returns & Refunds Policy

This policy applies to physical products purchased from the Carbon Gym online shop (such as apparel, gloves, wraps, heart-rate monitors, and training equipment). It does not apply to gym memberships, class packs, or other services.

Change of mind

We accept change-of-mind returns within 14 days of you receiving your order, provided the item is unworn, unused, and returned in its original condition with all tags and packaging intact. Please contact us first to arrange your return. You are responsible for the cost of return postage, and a refund or exchange will be processed once we have received and inspected the item.

Hygiene and worn items

For health and hygiene reasons, items that are worn against the skin cannot be returned for change of mind once they have been used. For example, the chest belt or strap of a heart-rate monitor such as a MYZONE cannot be returned once it has been worn. If a worn component like this is faulty, we will repair or replace it under the Australian Consumer Law (see below).

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. If a product is faulty, significantly different from its description, or does not do what it is reasonably expected to do, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. For a major failure you can choose a refund or replacement; for a minor problem we may choose to repair the item within a reasonable time.

How to make a claim for a faulty item

If you believe an item is faulty, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order (and as soon as possible after you notice the fault) with your order number, a description of the fault, and clear photos or video showing the problem.

Return postage

For change-of-mind returns, you cover the cost of return postage. If we confirm an item is faulty, Carbon Gym will cover the cost of returning it to us — we’ll either provide a prepaid return label or reimburse your reasonable return postage. Please do not send items back before contacting us.

Refunds

Where a refund applies, it will be issued to your original payment method once we have received and assessed the returned item. Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days of approval, depending on your bank or card provider.

Items we cannot accept

• Items returned more than 14 days after delivery
• Worn, used, or washed items returned for change of mind
• Hygiene-sensitive items worn against the skin (such as heart-rate monitor belts) once they have been used
• Items returned without their original tags and packaging
• Items damaged through misuse, normal wear and tear, or improper care
• Items returned without prior contact and approval
