MetaFit Geelong – February Workout

Hi Guys, The new February workout ‘THE SHREDDER’ will be on show this week at Geelong’s home of MetaFit, Main Event Fitness! This will run at our usual time of Tuesday & Thursday at 7am. The SHREDDER is a 21 minute workout that combines 3 exercises back to back and then
reverses them, there are 2 rounds or SHREDS as they are called on the track and a flat out
finisher.

Your SHREDDER exercises are:
Sumo Hold – Borrower Squat – Side lunges
Split squat thrusts – Reverse Plank – Spider Plank
Floor to sky Jump – Long jumps – Tuck Jumps
Agility Sprint – Volleyball Blocks – Frog jumps

SHRED 1 is 20 seconds work on each exercise back to back, 20 seconds rest and then the
same 3 exercises in reverse.

SHRED 2 is again 20 on each exercise back to back, but only 15 seconds rest before they
reverse again.
The legs are going to be shredded after these two rounds with 1 minutes work and only 15
rest before the repeating in reverse, then…

THE FINISHER
The finisher is 1 minute of flat out press ups. Get your guys to choose the option that they
can do with full range of movement, getting the ‘chest to the floor’. Get them to count reps if
they can and encourage them to start with their hardest version and regress as they fatigue.
