How Our Muay Thai Fighters Geelong Train

Our Muay Thai fighters Geelong prep runs six days a week with sparring, technique drilling, S&C, and recovery. Every fighters athlete works directly with head coach through each fight camp.

What Makes a Great Muay Thai Fighter Geelong?

Attitude first. Every Muay Thai fighters Geelong athlete who steps up the ranks at Carbon Gym does the boring work consistently. Skills and fight IQ follow. Our program is designed so any driven fighters hopeful has a path from beginner to amateur card.

The Next Fight Card for Our Muay Thai Fighters Geelong

Our next card features four Muay Thai fighters Geelong debuting in amateur A-grade bouts. These fighters have been through full fight camps and are ready to show their work. Attendance at these events is one of the best ways to support our Muay Thai fighters Geelong squad and get a real feel for our gym culture.

If you want to train alongside our fighters crew, we run a dedicated fight-prep class three times a week at Carbon Gym.

What Happens in a Fight Camp at Carbon Gym

A full Carbon Gym fight camp runs 8-12 weeks depending on the bout. The early weeks rebuild conditioning and movement quality. The middle weeks are where the real work happens, with pad rounds, timing drills, and live sparring that ramps up in intensity. The final week is a taper: light movement, mental reset, weight management, and race-day rehearsal.

Between rounds, our strength coach adds two dedicated S&C sessions that focus on explosive hip power, rotational strength, and posterior chain endurance. Recovery is not optional. Every fighter uses the Dopamine Lab recovery room at least twice a week for sauna-ice-bath contrast, compression, and a dedicated mobility flow.
